Pumpkin Cookies
Ingredients
Cookie Ingredients:
- 2 ½ Cups Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- ½ tsp Nutmeg
- ½ tsp Ground Cloves
- ½ tsp Salt
- ½ Cup Butter softened
- 1 Cup Sugar
- ½ Cup Brown Sugar
- 1 Cup Canned Pumpkin Puree
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla
Frosting Ingredients:
- 1/2 lb Powdered Sugar
- 2 tbsp Milk
- Pinch of cinnamon/nutmeg/cloves if wished
Instructions
Cookies Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Combine flour, powder, soda, cinnamon, nutmeg. Cloves, and salt; set aside.
- Cream together butter and sugars.
- Add pumpkin.
- Add egg.
- Add vanilla.
- Mix in dry ingredients.
- Drop by tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheet, flatten slightly.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Cool completely then frost.
Frosting Directions:
- Combine ingredients to form a thick frosting.
