Candied Carrots

  • 2 lbs Carrots
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Peel and cut carrots to desired size.
  2. Melt butter in saute pan, add brown sugar and carrots.
  3. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until fork tender and brown sugar has thickened.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Garnish with parsley if desired.
  6. Serve warm.
